Approved Instructors
Manufacturing Safe Drivers
Matz has both female and male Instructors covering the Central Belt, all of whom are approved by the DSA (Driving Standards Agency). In order to represent Matz Driver Training, each instructor attends a monthly training and development programme, ensuring they are kept up to date with any changes in the driving test or road safety legislation.
All of Matz instructors look upon their role as a vocation to teaching. They all strive to deliver only the best in driver training throughout Central Scotland and which is reflected in their very high pass rates.
Structured Training
Saves Money – Saves Lives
All of our instructors work through the Matz pupil training assessment card, which covers all the skills required to be mastered to become a safe and competent driver on today’s roads. This ensures all of Matz pupils are taught to the highest standards and as a result, can save money in the long run.
Safe and competent drivers with the knowledge and ability to read the road are less likely to lose their licence or be involved in an accident, a statistic which can be high with young drivers.
Learn from 15+
Get ahead from an early age
Matz Driver Training introduced it’s 15+ driving course in 2009 to let young enthusiastic drivers get the experience of driving and learn the disciplines and responsibility of handling a motor car.
Although the pupil is not of age to drive on the public highway, we at Matz still teach young people in basic car control, and on each visit we expand on the individual skills of each pupil. This course has proven to accelerate learning and understanding, and has been very beneficial to pupils once they are 17 and on the road with confidence.
